Namco Bandai have announced today that a playable demo of the new upcoming game Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 is now available for download on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. They also announced that they game is scheduled to be released in stores throughout North America on October 19, 2010.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 offers players a story that stays true to that of the original anime series. The game will feature new expansive environments, exciting plot twists, and explosive battle systems and for the first time ever, online versus play will be available. The game will also feature an evolved Support Character system where players can call upon allies to help unleash explosive special team techniques upon opponents.
The game’s three-part story mode will be based on the Naruto Shippuden story arc and will have players experiencing ninja life through the eyes of Naruto, Sasuke, and Jiraiya. Over forty other characters from the series will be available to choose from as well, including a guest appearance by Tekken 6’s Lars.
